This is a beautiful well-made gold over silver crucifix with a faint black line along the design, which adds to its attractiveness and brings out the details. it has a tiny gold-plated stamping on the back of the cross. The chain matches the cross perfectly in color and is very sturdy. At first, I could not get the clasp to open, but when I pushed down the mechanism hard enough but not too hard, it opened and closed, and I have had no problem since.
