Admittedly the dimensions on this barrier will not work great for all applications. However, for what I needed, it works like a charm. I wanted to keep my cats away from my plants and this barrier was the perfect size to fit right on the window ledge and wide enough to allow me to place several plants inside of it. I used a couple of rubber feet to keep it locked in place and it's worked out great. The cats quickly realized they could no longer walk up to the plants and start nibbling and the setup allows for me to be able to open and close the window as needed. Since I have this plexi-glass barrier in the living room, it was really important that it wasn't an eye sore. I love that it's separate pieces that fold flat if needed and are sturdy enough to keep the kitties at bay. Another plus is that since it's entirely clear, it also does not block out the sunlight from outside.
